Robnor Resins sees overseas and domestic demand grow by 80%

Robnor Resins Ltd, based in Swindon, is experiencing a huge rise in demand for its products, allowing it to invest in staff, sites and new equipment.

Robnor Resins’ growing international presence and the new contracts secured for several high end blue chip UK companies has made significant investment necessary in all areas of its business.

Robnor has employed 16 new members of staff within production, engineering service and sales at its site in Swindon. The company has also invested £60,000 in new R&D testing equipment as well as refurbishing the R&D facilities to improve quality while respond to the growing demand for their products.

The company now has 9 distributor partners in 15 countries, and export turnover is expected to grow again next year.

Chairman of Robnor Gilles Coulombeau commented: “The company has performed excellently despite the economic conditions and we are now seeking to expand throughout Europe and beyond,” he said. “The values we have are very important to the business and these values create long-term partnerships with our customers, employees and distribution partners.”

Drew Warren, managing director of the privately owned business, said “we see export as the key to our future growth and have a strong commitment to develop export sales. In the near future we will roll out a number of initiatives to strengthen support to our partners.”
