Globally, Tata Steel has connected all its spend cubes through one SAP Business Intelligence report to support the global procurement teams and category managers. Both of these major projects raise questions for IT and business managers and Nick will pick up these themes.

How to address your most crucial business questions: building a blueprint for success

Simon Hicks
Simon Hicks, Business Consultant, Consumer Products and Retail, Teradata

Decisions based on analysis and reporting with data that are siloed are inadequate when relationships between disparate data are critical to understanding decisions affecting the entire enterprise. The ability to drive and maintain profit increasingly depends on the ability to manage the complex interrelationships of all enterprise systems, data, and channels as a whole. In this presentation Simon will discuss these issues and some possible solutions to them focusing on the following case studies:

- Intel

- Western Digital

- McCain

- Coke

- Ford

- 3M
