Based at our global defence manufacturing centre of excellence inBirkenheadon the Wirral with an international remit you will report to our Managing Director. The challenge is substantial, providing leadership to the technical team, liaising with others in the management team and critically, interfacing with the customers of our products to understand how we engineer, develop and deliver solutions that offer even more value.
You will be ideally educated to Degree level or similar in an engineering or science discipline and possess a background that includes working in a regulated industry. You’ll not conform to the usual ‘stereotype’ of a technician, you’ll be truly commercial, a great manager and leader, and you’ll possess the gravitas to make an immediate impact with your team, within the management team, and externally with our customers. An in-depth understanding of Lean would be a distinct advantage.
