Now in its fifth year, the annual Manufacturer Awards are designed to raise the profile, awareness and understanding of UK manufacturing This years awards ceremony will for the first time take place in central London. The UK has many great examples of excellence and achievement and this exciting awards programme is designed to identify, recognise and celebrate these achievements. It doesn’t matter if your company is large or small, a major sector player or member of the supply base, it is the route to improvement that is important. Celebrate your excellence and show the world that manufacturing in the UK is very much alive and well. We strongly believe the UK Manufacturing sector is largely under reported, appreciated and regarded. Help us change the perception of manufacturing in the UK.
New Category
We are delighted to announce the introduction of a new category for 2008, Best SME. The UK’s manufacturing sector is one of the most efficient, nimble and innovative in the world, and some of the best exponents of innovative design and rapid manufacture, all based around lean and agile processes are SME’s. For too long these unsung heroes of UK manufacturing have been unrecognised. This award will identify key organisations within the SME sector that have delivered remarkable performance and results.
