Mini drives in profit for BMW

BMW has said that strong sales of the Mini has helped to lift its third-quarter profits.
The luxury car manufacturer said that deliveries of the Mini totalled 104,861 from January to September.
BMW’s pre-tax profits rose 1.5 per cent to 689 million euros, with sales up 19 per cent to 9.971 billion euros. The company expects full year earnings for 2002 to be higher than last year.
