More job losses on the way

Cable & Wireless, the UK telecommunications group, is preparing to shed up to 3,000 jobs across its C&W Global division.
The announcement is expected on Wednesday, and the division will lose approximately 25 per cent of its workforce.
The job losses will largely affect operations in the UK and North America, and come as part of a £1 billion restructuring programme.
