BAE Systems division up for sale

Employees at BAE Systems were yesterday told of the company decision to sell the aerostructures division.
Doubts over the future of the 2000 employees at BAE's sites at Ayrshire and Lancashire were raised after the confirmation. The aerostructures arm concentrates on the civil aviation market and buyers are being sought.
