Nissan is celebrating its 10 millionth vehicle sale in Europe by offering a Micra, Nissan’s compact car, to a humanitarian association.
The 10 millionth vehicle was sold in Portugal, where the company recently established a new national sales company.
Nissan Portugal donate the car to Fundação do Gil, a non-governmental organization dedicated to providing financial and humanitarian support to children undergoing long-term stays at hospitals, prisons or other similar institutions, to receive this Micra.
The Micra represents the highest-volume model produced at Nissan Motor Manufacturing UK. It was the first-ever Japanese car to win the title of Car of the Year in Europe in 1993, and more than one million Micra's have been sold in Europe since 1998 alone.
