Positive plans at Rover site

There could be good news at Longbridge after announcements that MG Rover’s new owner could create up to 1200 jobs at the site

Since workers at the Longbridge site were made redundant last April, details have now been released for the future of Rover.

According to Nanjing Automobile's vice-president Wang Qiu Jing: "After successfully completing the purchase of MG Rover's assets, we have been working with our business partners to develop a viable business plan."

Wang Qiu Jing believes that the business plan which is currently underway could create a viable automotive business at the UK site and in China.
