Mars has recalled certain packs of Maltesers and Revels after customers found small pieces of rubber in them.
A Mars spokesperson said the company had conducted an investigation at its Slough factory after five consumers complained they had found rubber in the packs of chocolate-covered sweets.
"A few packs could, as a result of an isolated incident, have been contaminated with a very small amount of silicon rubber," the company said.
The rubber was inert and non-digestible, the spokesperson said.
