Cobham buys BAE’s Pennsylvania arm

Cobham, the aerospace company, has agreed the purchase of BAE Systems’ surveillance and attack business unit based in Pennsylvania.
The $240 million (£119.5 million) acquisition is expected to propel Cobham towards its goal of establishing itself as a radio frequency (RF) front-end subsystem company.
The unit will be renamed Lansdale under the new management.
