Airlines seek 787 delay compensation

Several Boeing customers are seeking compensation following the announcement of further delays to delivery of the 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
Air New Zealand is first in the compensation queue, with All Nippon Airways and Japan Airlines likely to follow. Australian airline Qantas, which has already sought damages, and Northwest Airlines have also expressed their disappointment.
A total of 50 airlines are currently awaiting delivery of Boeing 787s.
