Land Rover has been presented with two Queen’s Awards for Enterprise at its Gaydon site in Warwickshire.
The company received the International Trade award, recognising its 52 per cent (£1.3 billion) increase in export sales over three years, and the Innovation award for its patented Terrain Response System which maximises vehicle performance on all surfaces.
“These awards are not only testament to the fantastic cars we are producing, but also to the hard work of the teams that operate around the world in the face of fierce competition,” said Jaguar Land Rover CEO David Smith.
“These are exciting times for Jaguar Land Rover. We’re entering a new era, with new models and new directions. There really has not been a better time to be in the automotive industry,” he added.
