Syngenta to expand Grangemouth operations

Agricultural fungicide producer Syngenta is to create 50 new jobs at its Grangemouth site as part of a £75 million investment.

“Global food supply needs to increase by 50 per cent over the next 20 years if growing demand is to be met,” said head of global operations Mark Peacock. “Today’s announcement will enable Syngenta and the UK to play a leading role in providing growers around the world with the tools they need to protect and improve yield.”
