At the latest Sitevi, France's largest viticulture exhibition, the Gripple Plus Anchor Kit (GPAK) provided a dramatic confirmation of its outstanding capability when a local wine grower installed the system in just 30 seconds!
During the three day event, hundreds of visitors took up Gripple's challenge to show how quick and easy it is to use the innovative system, comprising a Gripple wire joiner and a pre-cut cable, for securing end-posts in vineyards and orchards and bracing fencing.
Each competitor was timed by a giant LCD clock with Jean Francois Agut - a vineyard technician from the Gers region of France - the fastest performer.
Gripple was sharing the stand of Carmo - the leading European manufacturer of vineyard posts and an importer of Gripple products across France, Spain and Portugal.
Eric Laroche, Gripple's agricultural sales director, said: "From newcomers to experts, every visitor to the stand found the GPAK a speedy system to install. Even those totally unfamiliar with our products were able to set up the kit in less than a minute!"
