Engineered Support wins $67M Air Force contract

Engineered Support Systems has received a $67 million contract from the US Air Force to produce Tunner 60-K Cargo-Loader/Transporters.
Deliveries will begin in April and run through the spring of 2005. The Tunner was developed by ESS’s Systems & Electronics subsidiary and is considered the backbone of US military airlift operations. The highly mobile vehicle is designed to quickly load and unload cargo from military transport aircraft in support of global airlift operations.
