Ford restructures NA vehicle development unit

Ford Motor Company will restructure its North American vehicle development system into four new groups to speed up cost savings and improve the quality of future models.
The changes reorganize Ford’s efforts for its Ford, Mercury, and Lincoln brands into four groups: small vehicles, midsize to large vehicles, SUVs, and pickups, said Todd Nissen, Ford’s spokesman.
