Honda’s income record high

Honda’s net income for the year ended 31 March 2003 has set a record high totalling $3,550 million, an increase of 17 per cent from the same period last year.
Unit sales of Honda’s motorcycles, cars and power products increased and revenue for the year reached $66,319 million, an increase of eight per cent from last year. Strong automobile unit sales in North America and Asia outside Japan contributed to the increase. Unit sales of power products rose by 16 per cent mainly due to increased sales of general-purpose engines in Europe and North America.
