More losses predicted for Axcelis

Axcelis Technologies have announced second quarter losses of $78.9 million.
The Beverly, Massachusetts based company, which produces semiconductor manufacturing equipment also expects a loss in the current third quarter.
It’s second quarter profits were affected by a non-cash charge to income tax expense of $69.7 million.
However net sales have also fallen to $84.7 million from $89.0 million earlier in the year.
