Allders Department Stores, which operates 42 retail locations throughout the UK, recently announced their selection of Kewill's CatalystCommerce, a Web-based supply-chain system that will be integrated with Allders existing Catalyst Warehouse Management System.
The purchase is part of an effort by Allders to drive down supply chain costs, improve inventory accuracy, and reduce operating complexity. CatalystCommerce will provide the retailer with Web-based purchase order and invoicing management, as well as increasing receiving performance through advanced shipping notifications and supplier performance tools. According to Kewill, the project will include deployment of e-ordering capabilities, along with Web-based transaction ordering, sales data, and advanced shipping notification.
