Chicago, IL-based aerospace company Boeing posted first-quarter earnings of $623 million, due in part to increased military sales.
This represents a sharp jump from Boeing's first-quarter earnings one year ago, when the company posted a first-quarter loss of $478 million.
Boeing’s first-quarter revenue rose to $13 billion, up from $12.3 billion one year ago, including a $1.1 billion gain in military and space revenue, which offset a decline in commercial jet revenue.
