Troubled pasta maker New World Pasta is expected to file Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection today.
Troubled pasta maker New World Pasta is expected to file Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection today.
Earlier in the year the company had stated that revenues were not sufficient to fund the company in 2004, and that it would not be able to make bond payments scheduled for February and August.
New World brands include well known names like Prince, Ronzoni, and San Giorgio. New World Pasta's manufacturing plants are located in Fresno, CA; Omaha, NE.; Louisville, KY.; St. Louis, MO; and Winchester, VA.
