Hormel Foods Corp. reported a significant earnings gain in second quarter results. Net earnings of $53.7 million were up 59 percent from second quarter earnings in 2003.
Hormel Foods Corp. reported a significant earnings gain in second quarter results. Net earnings of $53.7 million were up 59 percent from second quarter earnings in 2003.
Of note, the company's Refrigerated Foods division saw their operating profit rise by 167 percent. Total dollar sales totaled $542 million, up 14 percent from a year ago.
Austin, MN- based Hormel Foods Corp. manufactures a range of meat and poultry products for retail and food service. Brands include Spam, Dinty Moore, and Jennie-O Turkey.
