Sparks, MD-based McCormick and Company, the world's largest spice manufacturer, reported a seven percent jump in earnings during their most recent quarter.
The company reported net income of $42.9 million during the fiscal second quarter, up from $40 million during the same period last year.
Sales were up 13 percent during the quarter, to $596 million. Sales figures were improved in part due to McCormick's purchase of the Zatarain’s food seasoning business in 2003.
