Wages and benefits up slightly for US workers

US workers saw wages and benefits rise by a modest 0.9 percent in the second quarter of this year. This is down from the 1.1 percent increase seen in the first quarter.
US workers saw wages and benefits rise by a modest 0.9 percent in the second quarter of this year. This is down from the 1.1 percent increase seen in the first quarter.
The Labor Department reports that the second quarter produced the smallest quarterly increase since the 0.8 percent rise in the last quarter of the previous year.
