Oneida Ltd. sells Encore subsidiary to Bradshaw International

Glassware and flatware manufacturer Oneida Ltd. announced that it has completed the sale of its subsidiary, Encore, to kitchenware company Bradshaw International.
The terms of the sale were not disclosed.
Encore will continue to make and sell products to supermarkets under the Oneida brand under a licensing agreement.
Last June, Oneida underwent restructuring to avoid bankruptcy. The company’s net sales figures in the fiscal year ending January 2004 were $453 million, compared to $491.9 million in the fiscal year ending January 2003; $509.1 million in the fiscal year ending January 2002; and $524.3 million in the fiscal year ending January 2001.
