Rolls-Royce today announced the appointment of Scott Crislip as president of its helicopter division.
Crislip succeeds Stuart Mullan, who is leaving the company to pursue other professional interests. Crislip reports directly to James M. Guyette, the president and CEO of Rolls-Royce North America Inc.
“Scott has been a valuable member of the Rolls-Royce team since joining the company two and a half years ago,” said Colin Green, president of the defense aerospace division at Rolls-Royce. “He has championed the defense business’ drive into aftermarket solutions, an area of particular importance for our helicopter business with an installed base of over 18,000 engines.”
Crislip joined Rolls-Royce in 2002 as vice president of Mission Ready Management Solutions. From March 2004 to July 2004, Crislip served briefly as interim president of the company’s defense business in North America.
