The Coca-Cola Co. announced that third quarter earnings may be off as much as 24 percent or more.
The Coca-Cola Co. announced that third quarter earnings may be off as much as 24 percent or more. The company had previously not given any guidance on quarterly earnings but new chief executive E. Neville Isdell broke with that policy in a conference call with investors and the media.
Isdell blamed cooler than average temperatures in North America and Europe and recent problems implementing new strategies for the unfavorable outlook.
