Harris tunes in $75 million US Marines contract

Harris, a supplier of tactical radios for defense forces worldwide, has been awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract, with a maximum value of $75 million, to supply the US Marine Corps with radios, spares and training.
The company’s AN/PRC-150(C) radio is a high-frequency radio with embedded communications security that has been certified for transmission of US classified information. It meets the security requirements of military forces around the world.
Harris’s RF Communications Division is a leading supplier of secure voice and data communications products, systems, and networks to military, government, and commercial organizations worldwide. Harris’s four operating divisions serve markets for government communications, tactical radio, broadcast, and microwave systems. The company has customers in more than 150 countries.
