GoJet Airlines has placed an order for 10 of Bombardier Aircraft’s CRJ7000 regional jets.
The 10 plane order is valued at approximately $317 million. This figure could rise substantially to the $1.6 billion mark if GoJet exercises options it has taken on an additional 40 CRJ7000 aircraft.
GoJet's CRJ700 aircraft will have 66 passenger seats in three classes: six First Class seats, 28 Economy Plus, and 32 Economy seats. As of January 31, 2005 Bombardier has delivered 1,224 CRJ aircraft to customers in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America.
"The CRJ700 is enjoying tremendous success around the world because of its superior operating costs, operational flexibility and cabin comfort,” said Steven Ridolfi, president, Bombardier Regional Aircraft. “We are confident that GoJet will experience the same satisfaction and success with the aircraft.”
