BAE to give Navy early warning

BAE Systems recently landed a $4 million contract to provide the US Navy with early warning radar components for its aircraft.
The fourth generation system known a the ALR-67(V)3 is used by the Navy’s F/A-18E/F Super Hornet aircraft to detect and identify hostile radar transmissions. The systems is a major part of the Super Hornet’s Integrated Defensive Electronic Countermeasures (IDECM) set.
"We're very proud to be part of the team that is supplying the ALR-67(V) 3 RWR system that protects our aircrews, enabling them to successfully complete their missions," said Bob Witmer, BAE Systems program manager.
