Bosch rolls out new division president

Auto parts giant Bosch has announced the appointment of Ronaldo Reimer as president of its North and South American Chassis Division and executive vice president of its global Chassis Systems business.
On April 1, Reimer will succeed Hans Weckerle, who will retire after 29 years with the company.
Reimer, who joined Bosch in 1985, most recently served the company as senior vice president, Latin America, for its Diesel Systems business with responsibility for its large manufacturing plant and engineering facility in Curitiba, Brazil. He has held a variety of engineering, manufacturing and leadership positions at Bosch in Germany, France, Brazil and the US, including positions at the company's Charleston, SC, facility.
One of the largest North American automotive suppliers, Bosch develops, manufactures and supplies precision components and systems for every major vehicle manufacturer worldwide. It employs more than 23,300 associates in more than 80 facilities throughout North America and reported sales surpassing $7.5 billion in 2004.
