Durable goods orders take a dent

The Commerce Department reports that orders for US-made durable goods increased a disappointing 0.3 percent in February.
Economists had predicted a stronger one percent increase for orders. It appears that aircraft orders prevented the news from being much worse. Civilian aircraft orders were up 32.1 percent last month and military aircraft orders shot up 11.3 percent.
