ServiceCraft Logistics supplies new leader

ServiceCraft Logistics, a leading third party logistics provider acquired by Sumitrans Corporation last September, announced today that Rick Moradian, formerly with APL Logistics, has been named its new president and CEO.
Moradian has more than 20 years of global supply chain experience. Most recently, Moradian served as Vice President, International Logistics and President of Asia and Middle East for APL Logistics, where he was responsible for developing and managing global integrated supply chain services for Fortune 500 and other major multinational customers.
Moradian’s international experience also includes working for Logistics Solutions & Implementation over a 10-year period. In this capacity, he helped optimize logistics networks for major clients in the automotive, retail, and high-tech industries. In addition, Moradian held a number of other executive level roles at Convey, Condor Logistics, and Williams-Sonoma.
ServiceCraft works with manufacturers in the food, paper, electronics, high-tech, shoes, apparel, and automotive industries, among others. They also work with many of the nation’s leading retailers, including Wal-Mart, Target, Sears, Kmart, Best Buy, Circuit City, and grocery chains such as Kroger and Albertsons.
