Goodrich names new president

Goodrich Corporation announced today that it has appointed manufacturing veteran Mike Brand as the new president of its landing gear division.

Most recently, Brand served as president of turbine engine component manufacturer Teleflex Aerospace Manufacturing Group. Prior to his post at Teleflex, he spent 17 years at General Electric in a variety of operations and manufacturing management roles, mainly in GE's Aircraft Engines business.

According to Jack Carmola, Goodrich’s segment president of airframe systems, “Mike brings a strong manufacturing and operations background to his role as well as broad experience across aerospace and other industries.”

Goodrich’s landing gear division is one of the world's largest suppliers of landing systems for commercial, military, regional and business aircraft. Headquartered in Cleveland, OH, it employs over 2,200 people at eight facilities in North America and Europe.

Goodrich Corporation is a Fortune 500 company, and is one of the largest aerospace companies in the world.
