Thermalcast, which specializes in manufacturing advanced die-cast parts, announced today that John R. Tilly has been appointed chief financial officer.
Tilly was until recently director of finance for Wolf Coach, a manufacturer of mobile telecommunications vehicles for broadcast, military, and homeland security applications. At Wolf Coach he oversaw double-digit annual growth in sales and profit, contributing to the successful sale of the company in 2002 to L-3 Communications.
Prior to his employment at Wolf Coach, Tilly served as director of finance for Boston Felt Company, and as a management consultant.
Thermalcast, based in Worcester, MA, was founded in January 2005 when a group of investors purchased the assets of the former Kennedy Die Castings.
