Remote controller hires quality controller

Cattron Group International, a manufacturer of remote control products for the industrial, mining, commercial mobile, and railroad markets, has announced the appointment of Joseph W. Trotter as vice president of quality.

Trotter comes to Cattron Group with over 20 years of quality management experience in developing, implementing and tracking production. In his new position, he will be responsible for the continuing enhancement of Cattron Group’s global quality control as the company continues to grow. He will report directly to John Paul, president and CEO of Cattron Group.

“We constantly strive to engineer superior products with outstanding performance,” said Paul. “Our ISO 9000:2000 system establishes a base line for quality. We’ve created the vice president of quality position to take us to the next level, ensuring that we always provide the level of product integrity the global marketplace demands.”

In a previous position, Trotter was vice president of quality at Elliott Turbomachinery, where he directed the establishment and implementation of strategic quality policies and requirements across 20 facilities and worldwide field activities.

Cattron Group companies have over 125,000 remote control systems installed throughout the world. Its products are suitable for all industries, including railroads, construction, shipyards, mining, aerospace, steel, military, agriculture, shipping, material handling, and utility vehicles.
