Prolexys names new executive

Prolexys Pharmaceuticals, Inc. has announced the appointment of David L. Clark, as President and Chief Executive Officer.

Prolexys Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a privately held biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering small molecule drugs that act at novel therapeutic targets.

Most recently, Clark served as Vice President, Corporate Affairs, at NPS Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a publicly traded biopharmaceutical firm. He also served as Vice President, Operations at NPS and, during his tenure there, he played a key role in funding transactions, investor relations, and corporate development. From 1988 until he joined NPS in 1996, he served as Vice President, Business Development for Agridyne Technologies Inc. Clark received his M.S. in agronomy with an emphasis in plant genetics from the University of Illinois and an M.B.A. from the University of Utah. Clark is also a founding trustee of the Utah Life Science Association.
