FKI Logistex appoints VP of North American manufacturing

FKI Logistex, the integrated material handling solutions company, announced the appointment of Dick Braatz as vice president of manufacturing for the company's North American business unit.
Braatz reports to Steve Ackerman, the president of FKI Logistex North America.
“Dick brings a wealth of global experience to FKI Logistex. That experience will be invaluable as we further optimize our manufacturing operations to serve our expanding worldwide customer base,” said Ackerman. “This is another step in the globalization of FKI Logistex.”
Braatz, who holds a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from Purdue University, comes to FKI Logistex from positions at L-3 Communications, Ingersoll-Rand, Wilcox Electric, and Allen-Bradley. He is based at FKI Logistex North America’s headquarters in St. Louis, MO.
FKI Logistex is a global provider of automated material handling solutions, supplying its customers with an integrated set of technologies in high-speed sortation, conveyor systems, palletizing, paperless pick products, AS/RS, controls, order fulfillment systems, RFID implementation, EDS integration, baggage handling systems, warehouse control systems, and total material handling automation.
