Veris Manufacturing gets ISO certification for Mexican plant

Veris Manufacturing, a provider of contract electronics manufacturing for OEMs and distributors worldwide, announced today it has been awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certification for its manufacturing facility in Rosarito, Mexico.
The company’s Fullerton, CA, facility has been ISO-certified since 2003.
“Achieving ISO 9001:2000 for both our facilities exemplifies our continued commitment to enhance our customer satisfaction through quality management practices and standards,” said Bill McIlvene, president of Veris Manufacturing. “Our ISO 9001-certified quality program provides us with critical processes to ensure that these quality standards are met or exceeded in everything we productive. The certification demonstrates Veris Manufacturing’s commitment to quality throughout all of our manufacturing processes.”
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies from some 140 countries. The mission of ISO is to promote the development of standardization and related activities in the world with a view to facilitating the international exchange of goods and services, and to developing cooperation in the spheres of intellectual, scientific, technological, and economic activity.
Veris Manufacturing serves the medical, test and measurement, capital equipment, telecommunications, and industrial markets.
