North Carolina based contract manufacturer Catalyst Manufacturing Services has been approved by the United States Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, for ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) accreditation.
ITAR registration qualifies Catalyst to manufacture, acquire, and ship government and defense related articles and products.
A start-up four years ago when founders Jeff Benes and Bob Mackowiak found themselves unemployed after a Tier 1 supplier closed down a local operation, Catalyst now provides full turnkey contract manufacturing to OEMs in the medical, computer, industrial networking, telecommunications, transportation, military, and security industries. It offers both leaded and RoHS compliant manufacturing processes.
