BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ToolsGroup, a global provider of inventory optimization solutions, announced today that Energizer (NYSE: ENR), one of the world’s largest manufacturers of batteries, will implement ToolsGroup DPM inventory software.
“ToolsGroup’s DPM is the best product we saw for companies facing a high degree of seasonality and similar challenges to optimizing safety stocks,” said Gary Proctor, an Energizer manager.
“The supply chain has become longer and more complex for many leading global companies, like Energizer,” said Joseph Shamir, CEO of ToolsGroup. “Our DPM technology manages these complexities by determining and maintaining the best possible inventory mix throughout the supply chain.”
ToolsGroup has successfully implemented at dozens of other well known consumer companies and retailers facing seasonal business swings, such as Diageo, Georgia-Pacific, Cadbury Schweppes, Luxottica (SunGlass Hut) and Latin America Duty-Free. The ToolsGroup DPM solution is ideal for sensing demand trends and dynamically positioning inventory accordingly for maximum fill rate.
