The Reputation institute, a NY-based consulting firm, has ranked the world's most reputable companies, as Forbes reports.
The Institute surveyed 30,000 people worldwide, ranking 300 of the largest companies worldwide.
Barilla Holdings, the pasta company, was #1, with a reputation score of 87.79 out of a possible 100.
The $34 billion Kraft Foods was the only American firm to make it into the top ten, with a score of 81.82.
It seems that the most visible companies got the most votes, as Denmark's Lego and Sweden's Ikea also made the top ten, along with South Korea's Samsung.
