Dow for sale to India's largest company?

Forbes is reporting that Reliance Industries, India's largest company, is reportedly seeking $2 billion in bank financing to develop a gas field off India's coast, and may be positioning itself to acquire Dow, the petrochemical giant.
The source is The Times of India which reported Tuesday that Chairman Mukesh Ambani was in a position to raise $6 billion to buy foreign firms in concert with private equity funds. Reliance will not comment, and thusfar, no word from Dow.
