LIVE: ISCEA members to earn credits at Manufacturer LIVE symposium

Conquest Business Media (CBM), publishers of The Manufacturer, have struck a strategic alliance with the International Supply Chain Education Alliance (ISCEA) to promote The Manufacturer LIVE 2007, May 30–31 at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers.

“We are delighted at the opportunity,” said Dr. Charles A. Watts, executive director of education at ISCEA. “Members are encouraged to participate at this event. The conference participation will count towards ISCEA certification maintenance requirements. Our members can schedule their itinerary specific to their areas of interest, attend over 40 workshops and seminars, and network with their manufacturing peers,” said Watts.

“It’s an honor to have ISCEA involved—they’re more than a member organization; they’re a think tank,” said Dann Anthony Maurno, editor in chief of The Manufacturer.

“US industry needs to make mastering the supply chain a priority, and ISCEA is uniquely positioned to do that.”

The extensive partnership includes: eight ISCEA PDUs (credits) per day, totaling 16 for the conference; an agreement to automatically enter all categories of The Manufacturer Award finalists in the ISCEA Ptak Prize; an award reception at LIVE 2007; and a 10 percent discount for LIVE 2007 attendees for ISCEA Certified Supply Chain Manager and Certified Lean Master workshops and exams.
