MSCI hosts metals industry economic forum

In mid-September, the Metals Service Center Institute (MSCI) will sponsor Forecast 2003, a forum addressing the economy, metals distribution, and the outlook for major end-user markets.

. Keynote speakers for the forum include Michael Moskow, president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, and Michael Spears, senior vice president and CFO of the Boeing Company.

“We will be gathering in one place, the industry’s most knowledgeable executives and leading forecasters in the automotive, appliance, construction, aerospace, and capital goods markets,” said Robert Weidner, president of MSCI. “Consistent with our goal of becoming the premier trade association within the metals industry, we have assembled thought leaders from every sector of North American manufacturing and the Federal Reserve Bank. We intend to provide attendees with a depth and breadth of economic outlook second to none, so that they have a rich perspective and context within which to plan their business for next year,” Weidner said.
