India’s Finance Minister, P. Chidambaram, said that the country will emerge as the world’s second largest economy in the next 20 years.
He specified taking fourth position in the world economy in the next thirteen years and third position after eighteen years. Speaking at Tata Steel, he said the structure of the economy had changed and the service sector was sharing the major pie in comparison to the industries and agricultural sectors.
