US manufacturing output shows a 0.3% rise in output in July, following a rise of 0.6% the previous month.
Business equipment, Computers and Motor Vehicles were all contributors in the rise in output.
Many believe another factor was the excess inventory available.
Capacity utilization also helped the increase, with growth to 81.9 percent, the highest since September 2006, from 81.8 percent the prior month.
Motor vehicle production rose 2.6 percent. With production of computers and peripheral equipment rising 0.8 percent.
