Northrop Grumman receives $34.2M US Air Force contract

Northrop Grumman’s Integrated Systems was awarded a $34.2 million contract by the US Air Force for the initial phase of the B-2 radar Pathfinder program.

The program is designed as a multi-year effort to design and apply a new radar antenna on the B-2 stealth bomber. The program is estimated to be worth $900 million, and installation is scheduled to be complete by the end of this decade. Work during the initial phase will by comprised of system engineering and the establishment of performance requirements. In addition to the B-2 radar Pathfinder program, Northrop Grumman Integrated Systems is developing additional upgrades to improve the bomber’s maintainability, lethality, and connectivity.
