The winning entries of the 2012 EEF Photography Competition are on display in the foyer of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS).
The exhibition is the first of the 2013 rolling programme of manufacturing-themed monthly events at BIS to showcase British engineering, design and manufacturing and its contribution to growth.
EEF has compiled selected images from the EEF/APMG ‘Made in Britain’ Photography
Awards 2012 “to present a picture of contemporary British manufacturing to a business-minded audience to help change the misperception that very little is made in Britain anymore,” says EEF’s national partnerships manager Stuart Biddle.
The 2012 photography awards were sponsored by Canon, Lombard and the ERA Foundation, and run with support from The Manufacturer and the Associate Parliamentary Manufacturing Group.
2012 saw a record level of entries, reaching nearly 900 images across three categories – Professional, Amateur and Young.
The 2013 Awards will open later this year and you can register your interest by contacting Stuart Biddle on 020 7654 1501 and [email protected].
